7 awesome reasons to attend our Family Day game this Saturday

There are so many good reasons to attend Family Day on Saturday, July 20 that we couldn’t only pick five. Here are seven reasons to come watch our game versus the Edmonton Eskimos live.

1-We just beautifully won two consecutive games

And we’re getting ready to seek revenge against the Eskimos. The green and gold may have got the upper hand in game 1, let’s not forget how good of a fight our guys put up. Defence will have to find a way to contain highly productive Trevor Harris while Vernon Adams works towards repeating the extraordinary feats he accomplished in Ottawa. 327 passing yards, two touchdown throws and two rushing touchdowns; it’ll be hard to beat, but everything is possible when you’re cheering us on!

2-It’s Family Day

Children 16 and under get in for only $5! There will also be a group of mascots at the tailgate to entertain the little ones. As a matter of fact, we’re hosting our first tailgate of the season! Swing by to catch a glimpse of your favourite friendly giant as Luc Brodeur-Jourdain will be there to snap a few pics with the fans!

3-We will be honouring LBJ’s admirable career

Even if his coaching career just started, the organization will take the time to honour Luc’s 11 unforgettable seasons as an o-lineman. A guy like him, who gave his all to the team as well as to the community, deserves to be shown love over and over again. Get there early (3:30pm) to see the touching ceremony that will be held for him in pregame!

4-Lesters hot dogs are only $2

Do we really need to say more? This fan-favourite promo is back and we already know it makes y’all smile!

5-Together, we will fight against hunger

As we do every year, we encourage you to bring your non-perishable food items at the stadium to support Purolator’s Tackle Hunger. By doing so, you will get the opportunity to take a picture with the Grey Cup and even receive your very own warrior mask as a token of our appreciation. The masks, like the one fashionably worn by Henoc below, will be available at all stadium entrances.

6-The Rouge et Or will also be honoured

Speaking of Cups, the Vanier Cup will also be on site as we will congratulate the Université Laval’s Rouge et Or at half-time. The Québec city powerhouse certainly deserves a great round of applause after its huge win last fall!

7-It’s the perfect time to make a new friend

Anthony the bear will be sold at 50% ! The perfect pal for your young fans, our teddy bear is a huge hit every year. He’s back in full force this season BEARing our new colours. Regularly going for $25, Anthony will be priced at $12.50 + taxes THIS SATURDAY ONLY!
See ya at the stadium folks!
