Montreal Alouettes and les Éleveurs de porcs du Québec renew their partnership

Montreal, May 11, 2023 – The Montreal Alouettes and les Éleveurs de porcs du Québec have announced that they’ll be continuing their partnership. The fans attending games at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium will reap the rewards of this relationship.

Several new pork dishes will be available at local games at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium such as the pulled pork poutine and the pork burger.

Quebec pork, the official meat of the Montreal Alouettes, has been farmed and processed in Quebec. It must meet very high-quality standards in terms of safety, traceability, and animal welfare.

These leaders in the Quebec pork industry ensure the prosperity and sustainable development of Quebec’s pork businesses by offering a high-quality product to all consumers. They offer a lot of important information and training to the breeders so that they can generate change and success.

“We are pleased to continue our association with les Éleveurs de porcs du Québec, a local business for over 55 years. Our fans will be able to enhance their experience at the stadium by enjoying great food at our home games, thanks to the tender meat of les Éleveurs de porcs du Québec,” said Brian Weightman, Senior Director, Corporate Sales and Partnerships for the Montreal Alouettes.

“Les Éleveurs de porcs du Québec are honoured to be associated with the Montreal Alouettes. After all, our team and their team have a lot in common. We both encourage local talent and we both know the value of hanging tough, giving it all you’ve got, and never saying die. That’s why we’re teaming up again for a second consecutive year with an outrageously tasty menu of pork dishes for fans to enjoy in stadium concessions all season long. Quebec Pork, proud to be the official meat selection of the Montreal Alouettes. Bon appétit!”, says David Duval, President of les Éleveurs de porcs du Québec.
