The Grey Cup Fan Base ushers in the next evolution of the ultimate fan experience. Beginning this year, the illustrious championship trophy will be raised up by a newly designed Grey Cup Fan Base – a dynamic, multi-level podium created to commemorate thousands of dedicated football patrons nationwide.
The Fan Base stands as a monument to the legions of fans who endlessly support Canadian Football as a beloved, homegrown national sport. It is a once in a lifetime chance to etch your name, profess your national pride, and truly be part of the Grey Cup’s century-long legacy.
The Grey Cup Fan Base is a project supported by the CFL and the Canadian Football League Players’ Association (CFLPA), with proceeds going to the CFL’s nine teams and CFL players.
Pillars made of Canadian aluminum and hardwood stand adjacent to each other to represent Canadian Football fans near and far. Inscribed onto the base’s aluminum surface will be the names of CFL fans to celebrate their place in history as true ambassadors of the game, and the ones who continue to lift up their home teams to achieve the highest standards of excellence within the sport.
The Grey Cup Fan Base is the CFL’s commitment to pushing the game forward while championing the values of unity, patriotism, and inclusion for all future generations of Canadian Football.
