Marc-Olivier Brouillette Joins TSN 690 as Game Analyst for Montreal Alouettes Broadcasts

The Montreal Alouettes and TSN 690 Montreal announced on Wednesday that former CFL safety and linebacker Marc-Olivier Brouillette has joined TSN 690 as game analyst for the station’s live radio coverage of Alouettes games in 2019. Brouillette teams up in the booth with longtime Alouettes play-by-play commentator Rick Moffat.

Brouillette shares his extensive knowledge of Canadian football following a nine-year career in the CFL. He won the Grey Cup with the Alouettes in 2010 after being selected 23rd overall in the CFL Draft by the team that same year. Brouillette spent seven seasons in Montréal before joining the Saskatchewan Roughriders for two seasons. In 117 CFL games, Brouillette recorded 215 defensive tackles, eight sacks, and five interceptions, as well as 32 special team tackles. Prior to joining the Alouettes, Brouillette suited up as quarterback for his hometown Université de Montréal Carabins from 2006 to 2009. Away from football, Brouillette also works as a lawyer in Montréal.

“I’m looking forward to reconnecting with Alouettes fans this season on TSN 690, sharing my knowledge of the game and my experiences as a former player,” said Brouillette. “I’m very happy to team up with Rick Moffat, who I grew up listening to, and who I got to know during my years with the Alouettes. I’m very excited for the new season to begin.”

In May 2017, the Alouettes and TSN 690 renewed their partnership with a multi-year broadcast rights agreement, ensuring that Montréal’s fan-favourite all-sports station continues to be the exclusive radio home for all Alouettes pre-season, regular season, and playoff games. Along with listening on AM 690 in Greater Montréal, fans can listen live at TSN.ca/Montreal through the TSN and iHeartRadio Canada apps. The station’s podcasts are available on-demand at TSN.ca/Montreal.

The Alouettes kick off their pre-season calendar on Thursday, May 30, as they visit the Toronto Argonauts at 11 a.m. ET. The Alouettes play their first 2019 home game on Thursday, July 4, at 7:30 p.m. ET against their division rival Hamilton Tiger-Cats at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium.
