Alouettes add kicker Taylor Russolino to the roster

The Montreal Alouettes announced on Thursday that the club has added international kicker Taylor Russolino to the roster. He will play Friday night as he will replace Boris Bede, who was injured in last Sunday’s game.

Russolino (6’0″, 170 lbs.) played for the Millsaps College Majors at the collegiate level where he was named to the All-Conference Team on three occasions. During his four years with the Majors, he established school records for career points (260) and career extra points made (164). The 28-year-old then made the jump to the professional level with the Marion Blue Raiders of the CIFL. The Metairie, LA native then joined the New Orleans VooDoo of the Arena League.
