Nine East All-Stars for the Alouettes

Montreal, Nov. 10, 2010 – The Canadian Football League announced today its East Division All-Star team; with nine Montreal Alouettes being selected.

The Division All-Stars were selected by 69 voters, including members of the Football Reporters of Canada (FRC), CFL head coaches and CFL fans from across the country thanks to a poll conducted on CFL.ca. Almost 300,000 votes were registered.

The CFL.ca All-Star Balloting program reopens today for fans to make their selections for the 2010 CFL All-Stars. The final round of voting for fans closes on Sunday, November 14, prior to first game of the 2010 CFL Playoffs. The CFL All-Stars will be announced on Wednesday, November 17.

Quarterback:
Anthony Calvillo (8th selection – 2000, 2002-2004, 2006, 2008, 2009)
380/562 (72%*), 4,839 yards, 32 TD passes, 7 interceptions, 108.1 efficiency rating.

Receiver: Jamel Richardson (3rd selection – 2008, 2009)
97 receptions, 1,271 yards, 7 touchdowns.

Tackle: Josh Bourke (3rd selection – 2008, 2009)
2008 East Division All-Star in his first complete season as a starter.

Guard: Scott Flory (9th selection – 2002-2009)
2008 and 2009 CFL Most Outstanding Lineman and 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2008 East Division Most Outstanding Lineman.

Defensive End: John Bowman (2nd selection – 2009)
32 tackles, 11 sacks and 4 forced fumbles.

Linebacker: Chip Cox (2nd selection – 2009)
80 tackles, 3 sacks, 2 interceptions for 9 yards, 4 forced fumbles.

Cornerback:
Mark Estelle (3rd selection – 2008, 2009)
36 tackles and 4 interceptions.

Defensive back:
Jerald Brown(1st selection)
5 interceptions for 46 yards, 57 tackles and 2 forced fumbles.

Kicker: Damon Duval (4th selection – 2007, 2008, 2009)
34/47 on field goals (72,3%), 156 points, 41 converts, 13 singles.

The East Division Final will take place on Sunday, Nov. 21 at Olympic Stadium with the Alouettes facing the winner of the East Division Semi-Final between the Toronto Argonauts and the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (RDS HD, TSN HD, NRJ, CJAD).
