Montreal, Apr. 8, 2010 – Montreal Alouettes’ Vice President and General Manager Jim Popp announced today that import defensive tackle Marcus Smith has signed for one year plus an option with the club.
Smith (6’04’’, 295 lbs) played with the Buffalo Bills over the last two seasons after starting his NFL career in 2007 with the Dallas Cowboys. In 2006, he recorded 16 tackles, three sacks and three tackles for a loss in 12 games with the Arizona Wildcats. He is 26.
