Weber Jr. signed with the Alouettes on Jan. 12, 2024.
Weber (5’11’, 210 lbs.) won the Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2020 and played in the NFL from 2019 to 2021. He also suited up for Dallas, Green Bay and the New York Giants during his stint in the NFL. The Cowboys seventh round pick in 2019 also played in the USFL for the New Jersey Generals.
The 26-year-old spent his college career with the Ohio State University Buckeyes from 2015 to 2018. In 38 games, he amassed 2,676 yards and 24 majors on 455 carries. He also collected 297 yards and one touchdown on 54 receptions. The East Orange, N.J. native also returned nine kickoffs for 143 yards. In 2016, he was named the Big Ten Freshman of the year in addition to being named to the second all-star team (All-Big Ten).
