Tyler was signed as a free agent by the Lions in December 2020.
Highlights:
2019: was one of three Aztecs to attend the NFL Scouting Combine.
College:
2016-2018: after redshirting in his first year, Tyler started 23 games over the next two seasons at left tackle. Along with being the Aztecs’ Offensive Lineman of the Year in 2017, he was also named a USA Today Freshman All-American. As a senior, he was named to the Pro Football Focus Mountain West Team of the Week for his efforts in a victory over Eastern Michigan.
