2017: Montreal Alouettes

2016: Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Toronto Argonauts
Willy played with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and the Toronto Argonauts. He was traded to the Argos on September 11, in exchange for DB TJ Heath, a first round pick in the 2017 CFL Draft and a third round pick in the 2018 CFL Draft. He was a starter for the Bombers in five of the eleven games he was dressed. After being traded to Toronto, Drew Willy was a starter in three of the five games he was a Boatman.

2014 – 2015: Winnipeg Blue Bombers
Re-signed by the Blue Bombers on May 2. He started in seven games before suffering a season-ending knee injury on August 13. He has completed 107-of-156 pass attempts (68.6%) for 1,434 yards and eight touchdowns and added 161 rushing yards on 19 carries. He has been traded from Saskatchewan to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in exchange for national receiver Jade Etienne on February. Drew signed by the Blue Bombers on February 6 and started 17 games for the Bombers in his first season in Winnipeg. He threw for a career-high 3,769 passing yards and 14 touchdowns while completing 305-of-478 pass attempts (63.8%), plus added 224 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 36 rushing attempts.

2012 – 2014 : Saskatchewan Roughriders
Played in all 18 games, starting in two, for the Riders in his second season in Saskatchewan…Completed 32-of-52 pass attempts (61.5%) for 473 passing yards and one touchdown…Added 22 rushing yards on 18 attempts as the team’s short-yardage quarterback…Playoffs: Dressed for both of the Riders playoff games but did not record any stats…101st Grey Cup: Dressed for the team’s Grey Cup win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Personal

Willy made his CFL debut with the Saskatchewan Roughriders in 2012. In 76 career games, he completed 727 of his 1,085 pass attempts for 8,539 yards and 39 touchdowns. He was intercepted 29 times and ran 128 times for 697 rushing yards and six touchdowns. He played college football with the Buff alo University Bulls, completing 849 of 1,322 pass attempts for 8,748 yards and 52 touchdowns between 2005 and 2008. He also had seven touchdowns on rushing plays. He established single-year school records at Buff alo for pass attempts (468), completed passes (304) and passing yards (3,304). In his senior year he led the Bulls to the Mid-American Conference Championship (MAC). Best passer in the history of the University for completed passes (849), complete pass percentage (64.2) and second best for passing yards (8,748) and pass attempts (1,322).
