2022: Resigned with the Alouettes on December 24th.
2021: Drafted in the 5th round, 45th overall, by the Alouettes and signed on June 2nd.
| Career
2022: Côté participated in all 18 games for the Alouettes. He made 44 out of 52 attempted field goals. With an average of 86.3% on field goals, Côté ranked 4th in the CFL. The Alouettes kicker was also second in the league for successful conversions at 97.3%. Côté made his longest career field goal of 52 yards on October 1st against the Edmonton Elks.
2021: Côté won his position during training camp and started the season as the team’s kicker. He played in his first professional game on August 14th, 2021 against the Edmonton Elks, where he made three out of four field goal attempts.
| College
Côté played for the Laval Université Rouge et Or from 2017 to 2019. He was named to the 2nd Canadian U SPORTS All-Star team in 2018 after making 19 out of 23 field goal attempts and 26 successful conversions. He finished the season as Vanier Cup champion as the Rouge et Or completed an undefeated season after a win over the Western University Mustangs in the 54th Vanier Cup. During the game, Côté made two field goal attempts and four conversions. He did not play in 2020 due to the cancellation of the 2020 football season (U SPORTS) and remained eligible for the 2021 CFL draft.
