Auditions Dance Team
The Montreal Alouettes are looking for dancers to form their official dance team for the 2025 season. Participation in the annual auditions is mandatory to join the team.
Auditions Details
- Date: Saturday, February 15, 2025
- Time:: 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM
- Location: Collège Trinité
(1475 Rang des Vingt, Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville) - Fee: $20 (taxes included)
Preparatory Workshop
- Date : Wednesday, February 12, 2025
- Time: 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM
- Location: Studio Innova Danse
(7 Montée Robert, Saint-Basile-le-Grand, QC, J3N 1L7) - Fee: $30 (taxes included)
Dancer Requirements
- Open to dancers of all genders, aged 18 and over (16+ can audition for experience)
- Advanced-level dancers with experience in Street Jazz, Jazz Funk, and Commercial Hip Hop choreography.
- Dynamic and charismatic personality.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be at least 16 years old to audition and 18+ to join the team (no maximum age limit).
- Availability for all home games (check schedule) and presence 2-3 hours before each game at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium (475 Avenue des Pins Ouest, Montreal).
- Vous devez être disponible le dimanche soir et le mercredi soir (heures exactes à confirmer) pour les pratiques (de mars
à novembre). Les pratiques auront lieu au Studio Innova Danse au 7 Montée Robert, Saint-Basile-le-Grand. - Availability for playoff games and the Grey Cup trip in November.
- Weekly practices: Sunday and Wednesday evenings (March to November) at Studio Innova Danse.
- Participation in the preparatory workshop is optional.
Additional Information
- Compensation is provided for home games and promotional activities.
- Each dancer will receive four tickets per home game.
