Top 5 Reasons To Attend The Thanksgiving Game Presented By Beneva

Keep the Winning Streak Alive

The Alouettes are riding a three-game winning streak, the latest coming last week against Calgary, which marked the return of quarterback Davis Alexander. The team is eager to maintain this momentum heading into the playoffs.

Following the Ottawa Redblacks’ loss on Friday night, Montreal is officially guaranteed a spot in the 2025 playoffs—and even better, they’ll host a playoff game. That means the East Semi-Final (Saturday, November 1) and the East Final (Saturday, November 8) will be played at home. This is the final stretch, and now more than ever, it’s time to come out and cheer them on at the stadium!

Honoring Two Legends of the Franchise

A few weeks ago, two Alouettes legends were inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame. Offensive lineman Bryan Chiu and wide receiver Jermaine Copeland will be at the stadium next Monday to receive a well-deserved tribute for their outstanding careers.

Copeland won the Grey Cup with the Als in 2002 and was named CFL Most Outstanding Player three times during his career. Bryan Chiu spent his entire professional career in Montreal, winning the Grey Cup in both 2002 and 2009. He was also named to the CFL All-Star team seven times!

A Rivalry to Keep Alive!

Thanksgiving Day football is a tradition for our Alouettes! This year again, our Ontario rivals, the Ottawa Redblacks, will visit Percival Molson Stadium. After beating the Redblacks for the first matchup in Ottawa last June, the Alouettes are looking to take the series, knowing that after this game, they’ll head to TD Place for one final showdown against Bob Dyce’s squad.
