JoshUa2 to perform at halftime of East Semi-Final

The Montreal Alouettes are thrilled to welcome JoshUa2 to Percival Molson Stadium for the East Semi-Final on Saturday Nov. 4! JoshUa2 are the best U2 tribute band in the province of Quebec.

It’s also a nod to our history, as we returned to Percival Molson Stadium for the playoffs in 1997 because U2 was set to perform at Olympic Stadium on the same day.

The move was a blessing in disguise. The Alouettes were able to build strong roots at the stadium and it led to many memorable moments, including that playoff game in 1997, which the home team won, 45-35, over the B.C. Lions.

Since 1997, the Als have a 5-2 record in postseason games played at Percival Molson Stadium, including last year’s 28-17 win over this Saturday’s opponent, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. They have a 4-1 record at Molson Stadium in East Division Semi-Final games.

Their previous win at home came in 2014 when Jonathan Crompton, S.J. Green and the rest of the team defeated the B.C. Lions, 50-17, in the East Semi-Final.
