Alouettes add versatile weapon to roster
Montreal, May 1, 2023 – The Montreal Alouettes announced on Monday that the club has signed American receiver Ronnie Blackmon.
Blackmon (5’11”, 185 lbs.) was a versatile and formidable weapon throughout his collegiate career, as he handled kick return duties, on top of his role as a wide receiver. The Atlanta, GA native caught 22 passes for 451 yards, while scoring five majors last season with the West Georgia University Wolves. He also returned 17 punts for 160 yards (9.41 yard average), as well as seven kickoffs for 150 yards. He was named to the Second Team All-Gulf South Conference.
