Kerfalla Exumé signs deal with the Alouettes

Montreal, February, 20, 2023 – The Montreal Alouettes announced Monday that they have inked defensive back Kerfalla Exumé to a one-year deal.

Exumé (6’0″, 197 lbs.)
played in all of the Alouettes’ games in 2022, collecting six tackles on special teams. In 2021, he was an important part of the Alouettes’ coverage team, racking up 15 tackles on special teams, good for second on the team. He won the Grey Cup with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in his rookie season in 2019.

In 50 career CFL games with Winnipeg and Montreal, he amassed 46 tackles on special teams and three defensive tackles.

An eighth-round pick of the Blue Bombers (70th overall) in the 2019 Draft, the 28-year-old played with the Université de Montreal Carabins and coach Danny Maciocia.

“Kerfalla is an important piece on our special teams,” said Alouettes General Manager Danny Maciocia. “He has gained great experience in his first three years in the CFL and I can assure that with him, the best is to come.”

The Alouettes also added running back Jerry Howard Jr., a former Towson University Tiger, to the roster.
