The Canadian Football League unveiled its 2020 schedule and the Montreal Alouettes will host their first regular season home game on Thursday, July 2 at 7:00 p.m., when the Ottawa REDBLACKS will be the visitors at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium.

It will mark Montreal’s third game, as the club will kick off its season on Friday, June 12 against the Roughriders in Saskatchewan, before travelling to Calgary to face the Stampeders on Friday, June 19.

Following a one-year hiatus, the Alouettes will once more host a Thanksgiving game, as the Toronto Argonauts will be the visiting team on Monday, October 12 at 1:00 p.m.

In Montreal, Khari Jones’ protégés will play two Thursday night games, three Friday night games and three Saturday games, on top of the Thanksgiving Monday match.

The Alouettes will try to avenge their 2019 Eastern Semi-Final loss on Friday, September 18, when they will host the Edmonton Eskimos. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers, defending Grey Cup champions, will be visitors to close off the season, on Saturday, October 31, at 4:00 p.m.
