5 awesome reasons to attend the August 2 game

Our Alouettes won their third straight for the first time since 2016! Plus, they did it at home! Needless to say, the atmosphere is better than ever at the stadium. As if that wasn’t a good enough reason to come watch the team potentially get another W this Friday, August 2, we found five more that should seal the deal.

1-The REDBLACKS fans are (too) loud

The RNation (Ottawa’s Fan Club) has its own section located behind the Redblacks bench and it makes wayyyyyy too much noise for our liking. Our Alouettes took over TD Place two weeks ago, so we bet the team and the fans will be particularly excited to get their revenge. We’ll need you to show them who’s house it is!

2-Budweiser Friday Night Lights are back!

What a beautiful summer we’re having! It’s the perfect time to come have a beer and enjoy the ball game. Stay hydrated friends, Budweiser cans (473ml) are only $7 ALL NIGHT LONG!

3-70s music will have you groovin’

The half-time show will be brought to you by Pop 70s presented by Le Cabaret du Casino de Montréal. If you enjoy jamming to motown, rock, folk or even disco, make sure you stay in your seat during the break! The stadium might just turn into Studio 54 for a minute.

4-The defence is constantly making progress

Game 1: 32 points and 608 yards allowed
Game 2: 41 points and 529 yards allowed
Game 3: 29 points and 459 yards allowed
Game 4: 19 points and 398 yards allowed
Game 5: 10 points and 320 yards allowed
Things are movin’ on up for Defensive Coordinator Bob Slowik and his squad. Considering the RedBlacks offence struggled against us earlier this month, we’re expecting another standout performance by our defensive men. Watch out for Patrick Levels who is leading the league in tackles and Greg Reid, number two for most interceptions.

5-The food is good, but like, reaaaaaally good.

We upgraded our food offering by partnering up with La Cage. We now serve so much more than hot dogs (although hot dogs are always a winner)! Try one of our killer burgers or the creole poutine in the Bier Garden. No need to go out for dinner before the game, we got you! Full menu
