The Montreal Alouettes announced on Thursday that the club has added international receiver Chris Brown to the roster.
Brown (6’1”, 195 lbs.) signed with the Dallas Cowboys in 2016 after playing four seasons for the University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The 25-year-old receiver had a brilliant collegiate career, helping the Fighting Irish reach the BCS National Championship game in his freshman year. The Hanahan, SC native completed his university career with 104 receptions good for 1,410 yards and six touchdowns. During his senior season at Notre Dame, Brown cumulated 597 yards on 48 receptions, while scoring four majors. A former member of the US National Junior track and field team, Brown was claimed by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2017
