The Alouettes reconfigure their stadium plan for 2019

The Montreal Alouettes announced that they have proceeded to reconfigure their stadium plan for games held at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium. A new price list, which will come into effect for the 2019 season, will reduce the cost of the average individual ticket from $84 to $75.

The organization has decided to strategically lower the maximum capacity of the stadium from 23 430 to 20 025 seats, and to increase the inventory of affordable tickets by 10%. As a result, 9,000 seats at $59 or less will be available in total, which represents 45% of the stadium capacity. In addition, a good number of season ticket holders will have the opportunity to move their seats towards the middle sections of the stadium at the same price as their actual seats.

“We have redesigned our ticket offering to make it more diversified, to offer more tickets in the most affordable ranges and reach an even wider public,” said Patrick Boivin, President and CEO. “We will grow our list of tailored products and continue to regroup fans in specific sections. This creates more proximity between spectators and enhances the general atmosphere in the stadium.”

The theme sections have been popular among ticket buyers and will again be part of the offering in 2019, including a few novelties:

The Friday Night Lights themed games, with 473ml beer at only $7, will also be back in 2019.
