2018 Mise-o-jeu Training Camp Report – Day 11

Under a bright sun, the Alouettes held a short walkthrough on Wednesday morning at the Mise-o-jeu training camp, the last session before finally facing the Ottawa REDBLACKS on Thursday night for the first pre-season game.

Guys are ready for tomorrow. We have to give credit to our coaching staff. They’ve prepared us really well in the last ten days. Our rookies are ready for their first game in the pros. We are going to Ottawa to win the game, we will undoubtedly take this game very seriously“, said quarterback Matt Shiltz.

To thank the players who have been working hard for the last ten days as well as the immensely dedicated staff and volunteers, the organization hosted a BBQ close to the practice field. The details were well thought out, as the tables were decorated and games were organized for players. The atmosphere was great, music was playing and players got to relax before the game tomorrow in Ottawa. “This is exactly the kind of day we needed. We were all reunited in a friendly atmosphere. It was a great event and it will help us for tomorrow,” said long-snapper Martin Bédard.

Fans will get to see their team at home for the first time this year on June 9, at 12:00 p.m., at Percival Molson Stadium, as the Hamilton Tiger-Cats will be in town for the last pre-season matchup.

The Alouettes will kick off their regular season on Saturday, June 16, with a matchup against the Lions at BC Place. The following week, Montreal will host its first home game of the 2018 regular season when the Winnipeg Blue Bombers visit Percival Molson Stadium on Friday, June 22, at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets for the home opener on June 22 are now available starting at just $29 or $15 for students. Several new options are available to football fans, including the All-You-Can-Eat Section (at $76 per game) and the three-game (or six-game) Discovery Pack that includes one game on the BBQ Quebec Terrace with a foodie meal, one game in the All-You-Can-Eat Section and one game in the General Admission Section for only $189 taxes incl.
