Alouettes unite their efforts to help flooding victims

Montreal – The Montreal Alouettes will help the many people affected by the flooding which has occurred in the Montreal area, as well as throughout the province. On top of making a $5,000 donation, the organization will be collecting funds on Friday, May 12, between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. in front of the team’s administrative offices at the corner of Ste. Catherine and Robert-Bourassa.

Players, members of the administrative and football operations offices, cheerleaders as well as team mascot Touché! will unite their efforts to raise funds which will entirely be donated to the Red Cross Spring Floods Appeal – Quebec. To thank people for their generosity, the Alouettes will be handing out four tickets for the team’s June 15 pre-season game to anyone who will make a donation of $20 or more on site.

The Alouettes are calling on the public’s generosity in order to help those affected and invite everyone to come meet them on Friday.
