Alouettes add quarterback Connor Halliday to the practice roster

MONTREAL – The Montreal Alouettes announced on Friday that the club has added international quarterback Connor Halliday to its practice squad.

Halliday (6’04”, 205 lbs.) played four seasons for the Washington State Cougars where he recorded stellar numbers performing at a very high level. The 24-year-old athlete completed 1,014 of his 1,634 passes good for 11,308 yards, while adding 90 touchdowns as the team’s starting pivot from 2011 to 2014. Halliday played 35 games for the Cougars. The Lewiston, ID native signed with the Washington Redskins as a free agent in 2015. Halliday still holds to this day the NCAA D-1 records of most completions in one game with 58 and most yards thrown in one game with 734.
