Alouettes release three players

Montreal – The Montreal Alouettes announced on Monday that the club has released national kicker Sean Whyte, national linebacker Bryn Roy as well as international receiver Dobson Collins.
 
Whyte had the longest tenure with the team as he joined the Alouettes in 2011 via a trade with the BC Lions, following two seasons in his home province. He played 72 regular season games with Montreal, scoring 698 points all while making 160 field goals.
 
Roy, who was drafted in 2012 by the Alouettes, dressed for 14 games, where he registered 11 special teams tackles.
 
Collins had joined the Alouettes this past winter and dressed for one game this season.
