The Alouettes returning to Bishop’s

Montreal, Mar. 22, 2011 – For the second straight year, the Montreal Alouettes will hold their training camp at Bishop’s University in the Sherbrooke borough of Lennoxville.

“The facilities at Bishop’s are first class and the management and staff were extremely accommodating and cooperative with us at every level. We truly enjoyed our experience last year from a logistical standpoint and it’s a perfect setting for training camp. Our stay there last year set the tone for our Grey Cup championship season and we look forward to going back,” said the team’s Assistant General Manager, Marcel Desjardins.

Marc Trestman’s team, which has just won back-to-back Grey Cups, will hit Coulter Field on June 5 and will be at Bishop’s until June 20.

Following camp, the team will move back to their regular lockers at Olympic Stadium and will begin preparations for their home opener on June 30 when the Als will play host to the visiting BC Lions at Percival Molson Stadium.
