Lande joined the Alouettes in 2013 after firmly establishing himself as an NFL draft expert for The Sporting News. The team’s Director of College Scouting is responsible of U.S Universities and college scouting since 2013. He is also the President and Founder of GMJR.com, an annual draft guide containing over 450 reports of prospective draft eligible college players, among other features. Since 2007, Lande has been responsible for writing NFL insider content, providing detailed scouting reports on college players, and posting an ongoing mock draft leading up to the NFL Draft for The Sporting News.” Lande’s resume also includes serving as a college scout for the NFL’s Cleveland Browns for three years, covering the mid-west region, while evaluating all eligible prospects for the NFL Draft. Prior to that, he spent four years with the St. Louis Rams as a scouting administrator. Since 2011, Lande has been a host on The Big Ten Network, and appears regularly on many national and local radio shows South of the border, including ESPN, ESPN2, Fox Sports, and The NFL Today Show.
