Career

For the first time since the 2012 season, the Als’ long snapper played in all 18 regular season games without being sidelined by an injury. The consistency he displayed all season long allowed his teammate Boris Bede to experience a rookie season to remember, as he was named an Eastern Division All-Star.

 

2014: Montreal Alouettes

The Als’ long snapper played in the club’s first seventeen games before sustaining a hand injury at the end of the regular season.

 

2013: Montreal Alouettes

The Als’ long snapper played in the club’s first seven games before sustaining a shoulder injury which saw him land on the nine-game injury list.

 

2012: Montreal Alouettes

Bédard continued to be a treasured commodity for the Alouettes on special teams. The long snapper suited up for every game and delivered perfect snaps on field goal attempts, extra points, and on punts. He also recorded nine special team tackles, good for fourth on the teamtied  with teammate Mike Lockley.

He finished tied for ninth on the team in special teams tackles with six … He was the team’s sole long snapper throughout the season.

2006-2008: Connecticut Huskies
In 2008, he started six of 12 games played, recording 156 yards on 13 receptions at tight end while also playing at long snapper … He played 13 games in 2007, including three starts.

 

 

Personal

 

The Quebec City native is involved in the team’s community programs including Together at School with the Alouettes. He played in 20 games for the Connecticut Huskies playing tight end and hauled in three passes for 42 yards. He played his AAA collegiate football for the Cégep du Vieux-Montréal Spartiates and in Midget AAA for the Laval Bulldogs.
