Career

2015: Montreal Alouettes

At the start of the season, Crompton was the starting quarterback for the Alouettes. In his first year in Montreal, he played a key role in the team’s historical comeback, as Montreal won eight of its last ten games to finish in second place in the East Division after starting the season with a 1-7 record. No other team in the League’s rich history had ever finished the season with a record of .500 after dropping six games below that bar. In twelve contests, he collected 2,933 passing yards and 11 majors. He maintained an effciency percentage of 58.1%, completing 179 of his 308 attempts. He added 469 passing yards and five scores in two playoff starts. Unfortunately, he didn’t get the chance to repeat in his sophomore year. A shoulder injury sustained in the opening game limited his play time to only three games.

Personal

He excelled at the collegiate level dressing up for the University of Tennesse Volunteers where he played at Neyland Stadium, one of the five largest stadiums in North America with a capacity of 104,000.
