2008 – Mr. Wetenhall was raised in the American Midwest, working for most of his life in New York. He attended Princeton University and is one of the founding members of McConnell Wetenhall & Co. Inc. The company has been involved in investment banking and also holds interests in real estate and natural resources. Mr. Wetenhall was a co-owner of the Boston Patriots of the American Football League during the late 1960s and continued as an owner of the New England Patriots when the franchise entered the NFL. He also was a co-owner of a North American Soccer League team in the 1970s. Mr. Wetenhall has been involved in commerce in Canada through the years. He was Director of Norin Corp., which owned Maple Leaf Mills during the 1970s and 1980s.

Mr. and Mrs. Wetenhall live in Florida and have residences in New York and Montreal. He has two sons.
