Alouettes Classic - High School All-Star Football Game

Ligue scolaire métropolitaine All-Star game, presented by Biscuits Leclerc
A Quebec tradition since 1985, the Ligue scolaire métropolitaine, a Montreal-area high school football league, gathers its best players each spring for the annual Alouettes Classic, presented by Biscuits Leclerc. Roughly 1,000 fans attend the game each year, with games being held some years at McGill University's Percival Molson Stadium and some years at Concordia University's Concordia Stadium.
The players from each team are selected each year by coaches and league directors based on their performances this season both on the field and in the classroom.
The biggest high school football league in Quebec, the Ligue scolaire métropolitaine is made up more than 30 teams, 100 coaches, and over 1,500 players.
The students chosen to play in the Alouettes Classic come from 16 areas across the Montreal Metropolitan Region, including the city itself.
