Without a home game as part of the CFL’s 2012 PINK program, which helps benefit women’s cancer research, this year’s Fan Train will have a PINK theme. The Alouettes and VIA Rail have partnered with Virgin Radio and the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation to help raise awareness for this important cause. In addition to Alouettes players wearing pink gear like tape and gloves on the field, one Alouettes player will also have his head shaved on the train back to Montreal by a lucky Shave to Save contest winner. Fans boarding the train will also receive a pink rally towel designed to augment awareness inside the Rogers Centre.
