Bernard Asselin joined the Alouettes in December 2014 as Chief Marketing Officer, Vice President Sales. Mr. Asselin leads the marketing and content teams as well as the communication department, focusing on the fan experience at Percival Molson Memorial Stadium. He is responsible for the organization’s ticket office, sales and customer service activities.

Mr. Asselin brings 25 years of experience in marketing, advertising, and sales with several renowned Québec companies. As President and COO of Bleublancrouge marketing communications agency, for the past four years, he played a major role in building a world-class reputation in a highly competitive international market. Today it is recognized as one of the 10 most creative agencies in Canada with highly creative, local, national and international campaigns for major accounts such as Ubisoft, Air France, KLM, Bell Media, Loto-Québec, PPG (Sico) and the Quebec Toyota Dealers Association.

Prior to Bleublancrouge, Mr. Asselin was Vice-President, Sales and Marketing at The Gazette newspaper for six years. In an equivalent role at Bell ExpressVu from 1990-1994, he played a pivotal role in launching satellite TV in Canada. Mr. Asselin also served as Chief of Marketing for RDS from 1996 to 2000. He is currently on the Board of Directors of the Festival de Lanaudière and was on the board of the McCord Museum from 2000 to 2011. He is no stranger to the Alouettes either, having been a member of the 2008 Grey Cup organizing ommittee.
