St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, June 10, 2008 – The following is the daily report from the Alouettes’ training camp for Day 10.

 

Extended practice

The morning practice was extended for a few minutes to allow the team to get in a few extra plays. The practice lasted for about two hours in 30-degree Celsius heat.

 

Second practice cancelled

The second practice was cancelled due to inclement weather.

 

Marv Levy in St-Jean

Marv Levy, the Alouettes head coach from 1973 through 1977, will be in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu tomorrow to address current coach Marc Trestman’s players. Levy won two Grey Cup with the Alouettes (1974, 1977).

 

Pre-season game Thursday night

Some tickets are still available for Thursday’s pre-season game as the Toronto Argonauts at Percival Molson Stadium. Call the Alouettes’ ticket office at 514-871-2255.

 

Tomorrow’s schedule

A short pre-game practice will begin at 10 a.m. tomorrow with player availability to follow. Marc Trestman and Marv Levy will be available following the player interview sessions. Practice location will be confirmed in the early morning.

 

Argos

The Argonauts will practice at 1 p.m. at Percival Molson Stadium with player availability to follow. Head coach Rich Stubler will speak to the media around 2 p.m.
