Top 25 continues!
Voting continues for fans to pick their favourite players in the Top 25 Alouettes of All Time vote, presented by www.MontrealAlouettes.com.
The vote, held on the Alouettes’ official website, features a list of 54* all-time greats, including Sam Etcheverry, Mike Pringle, Hal Patterson and Peter Dalla Riva. Several current Als also made the list, including the record-setting quarterback-receiver duo of Anthony Calvillo and Ben Cahoon.
Fans may vote as many times as they wish, choosing three (3) players per session.
Two seasons ago, Alouette fans chose the Team of the Decade, with players like Cahoon, Calvillo and Pringle headlining the best Alouettes of the 1996-2005 era. This vote focuses on the team’s entire 53-year history from 1946 to today.
Voting concludes Oct.1. The votes will then be tallied and the Top 25 will be announced at the Als Fan Day game on Oct. 20 as Montreal hosts the Toronto Argonauts at Olympic Stadium (RDS, CBC, CKAC SPORTS, CJAD).
