MONTREAL - Sure, fans young and old can go to Percival Molson Stadium to live the Alouettes’ experience, but what if it came to them?
Beginning this fall, one lucky Montreal neighborhood will see the Alouettes experience land in their backyard. The inaugural Alouettes Community Football Festival will be landing in Point St. Charles on Saturday, September 29. The day-long event will kick-off at 11:00 a.m. with the first of two kids’ football games pitting the Point St. Charles Aces and the Repentigny Rhinos beginning with the Atom level game following by the Mosquito game.
The games will be packaged like a real Alouettes home game with everything from the players running out of the giant inflatable helmet, to a half time show, and even performances by the Alouettes chearleaders! There will also be games and face painting for children.
