KHALIL CARTER JOINS THE ALOUETTES

Official release, Regina, SK – Montreal Alouettes’ Vice President and General Manager Jim Popp announced today the signing of defensive back Khalil Carter.

Carter (6’1”, 200 lbs) is a three-year CFL who played three seasons with the Toronto Argonauts from 2005 through 2007. In 31 career games, he has 68 defensive tackles and nine special teams tackles on top of eight interceptions for 270 yards and a pair of touchdowns. The 31-year-old University of Arkansas product is also a veteran of the Arena Football League.

The Alouettes also announced the releases of return specialist Jason Armstead and defensive back Rayshaun Kizer.
