GARDE-MANGER POUR TOUS
Montréal, MontrealAlouettes.com - Following in the great Alouette tradition of community involvement, team president and CEO Larry Smith will be on hand for the Garde-Manger pour tous event as of noon this Friday, Apr. 20.
Taking place at the Église Saint-Joseph in Little Burgundy, Mr. Smith will serve lunch to children of the area.
About Garde-Manger pour tous
For more than two decades, the Garde-Manger pour tous organization has worked in several of Montreal’s less well-off communities, feeding the needy and fighting poverty. The following are some statistics on some of the work Garde-Manger has done:
• They prepare and distribute hot, balanced meals every day
• They help more that 1,000 children get a lunch
• They distribute three tonnes of food each day
• They give cooking lessons to families
