Official release, Montreal - Montreal Alouettes’ Vice President and General Manager Jim Popp announced today the signing of fullback Dahrran Diedrick to a new deal with the team.

“Dahrran plays an important role on our team, always competing for a starting job at running back and giving us outstanding special teams play. It is important to have versatile players on your team like him. We are really happy to see him back with the Alouettes,” said Popp.

Diedrick joined the Alouettes in July 2006. Last year, he finished fifth on the team for most special teams tackles as well as rushing for 46 yards on 10 carries.
