Montreal, Aug. 4, 2008 – Montreal Alouettes’ Vice President and General Manager Jim Popp announced today that veteran safety Étienne Boulay will return to the team today.

Boulay (5’9’’, 187 lbs.) returns to the Alouettes after attending training camp with the NFL New York Jets. The Montreal native and 2006 East Division Most Outstanding Rookie will begin his third season in Montreal.

Three other defensive players will also join the team as well.

Tay Cody (5'9", 180 lbs.) joins the Alouettes after two-and-a-half seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Prior to joining the Ticats in 2005, he spent three years with the San Diego Chargers and half a season with the Eskimos. Cody was a 1999 NCAA National Champion with the Florida State Seminole.

Defensive back Gemara Williams (5’8’’, 195 lbs.) spent the last two seasons with the NFL New England Patriots. A graduate from the University of Buffalo, Williams is 25.

Jerron Wishom (6’, 197 lbs.) is a cornerback from Louisiana Tech who has played in the NFL since 2005, with the Houston Texans, Green Bay Packers, San Francisco 49ers, Minnesota Vikings and Dallas Cowboys. He is 26.

All three players are expected on the practice field at Olympic Stadium this afternoon. Practice will begin around 12:55 with player availability scheduled for 3 p.m.
