Montreal, July 7, 2008 – The Montreal Alouettes are proud to announce the launch of an interactive auction on the team’s official website, MontrealAlouettes.com.

Alouettes’ fans, collectors and football fans will have the chance to bid to win exclusive items signed by current players, coaches and alumni. To help fight Quebec’s elevated high school drop-out rate, 10 per cent of all winnings will go to the Success for Youth Foundation.

To kick off the auction, the Alouettes are currently featuring Anthony Calvillo’s authentic 2004 autographed jersey, a football signed by the 2007 edition of the team and an autographed Sam “The Rifle” Etcheverry retro jersey.

This first auction will start on July 21 and will end on July 31 at midnight.
