Cody Hoffman back with the Alouettes

MONTREAL – The Montreal Alouettes announced on Friday that the club has added international receiver Cody Hoffman to the practice roster.

Hoffman (6’4”, 210 lbs.) started his professional career with the Alouettes in 2015, hauling in six passes for 104 yards, while adding a touchdown in four games. Hoffman is the all-time leading receiver in the BYU Cougars’ history for receptions (248), receiving yards (3,445) and receiving touchdowns (33).

The 25-year old had his best season in 2012, making 100 catches good for 1,248 yards and 11 touchdowns. The Crescent City, CA native also amassed 1,331 yards on 53 kickoff returns while adding a major during his collegiate career. He took part in the Washington Redskins training camp in 2014.

The team also announced it has released international receiver Chandler Jones.
